From sorting to grinding
The material journey starts with sorting plastic by polymer and colour. Grinding reduces the material to smaller pieces. Those pieces, often called regrind or flakes, are a material form of their own and may be considered for reuse or further reprocessing according to the intended application.
For a grinding enquiry, identify the polymer first and explain the particle size or feed requirements of your process. SP Plast lists ABS, PC, HI and PS grinding; a colour reference can help describe appearance once the material requirement is clear.

From melt to reprocessed granules
